This past weekend, the Bronco Swimmers who qualified for the UIL 5A State Meet, competed against the best in Texas! 9 Lake Belton swimmers made it to the state meet! Our swimmers had awesome individual races, with 3 school records being broken! We also had really competitive relays. Friday was the preliminary round of races, with the top 16 swimmers making it to finals on Saturday. Below are the results of both days!

Results:
-Boys' 200 Medley Relay (Stewart, Naumann, Florea, Hepworth) finished 20th with a 1:41.51
-Girls' 200 Free: Prelims-Gwen Clark finished 16th with a 1:58.81 (NEW SCHOOL RECORD); Finals-16th with a 1:58.90
-Boys' 200 IM: Prelims-Joshua Naumann finished 14th with a 2:02.62; Finals- 12th with a 2:01.74
-Girls' 50 Free: Prelims-Christine Kim finished 5th with a 23.97; Finals-finished 6th with a 23.93
-Boys' 50 Free: Prelims-David Stewart III finished 19th with a 22.14
-Girls' 100 Freestyle: Prelims-Christine Kim finished 4th with a 52.15; Finals- finished 4th with a 52.02
-Boys' 100 Freestyle: Prelims-David Stewart III finished 14th with a 48.11; Finals-finished 10th with a 47.05 (NEW SCHOOL RECORD)
-Girls' 500 Freestyle: Prelims-Hannah Voss finished 15th with a 5:21.65; Finals-finished 16th with a 5:24.10
-Girls' 200 Freestyle Relay: Prelims-(Ferguson, Clark, Voss, Kim) finished 13th with a 1:42.58; Finals-finished 15th with a 1:42.12
-Girls' 100 Backstroke: Prelims-Jentry Ferguson finished 16th with a 1:01.06; Finals-finished 13th with a 59.74 (NEW SCHOOL RECORD)
-Girls' 400 Freestyle Relay: Prelims-(Ferguson, Clark, Voss, Kim) finished 15th with a 3:45.43; Finals-finished 12th with a 3:42.25
-Boys' 400 Freestyle Relay: Prelims-(Stewart, Naumann, Florea, Scott) finished 15th with a 3:20.95; Finals- finished 14th with a 3:19.89
