Friday the LBHS Varsity tennis team competed at a large Corsicana tournament. The tournament included large high level tennis teams from the East Texas, Central Texas, and the College Station area.
While all of the team competed well, 3 players stood out in their competitions. Sara Stephens placed 3rd in the A girls singles bracket, winning against China Springs, Kaufman, and Texas High. Dhruv Bhat and Ethan Muehlstein won 1st place in the consolation bracket, just losing their first match to tough opponents. They defeated doubles teams from North Forney, Texas High, and Argyle.
The Bronco Varsity team will compete this Thursday at A&M Consolidated Aggie Land tournament. RISEUP!
