The Vikings Relays delivered a full evening of grit, power, and pure competitive fire, and the JV Boys rose to the moment, securing a commanding second-place team finish behind a wave of standout performances across both field and running events.

The field events set the tone with the boys opened the meet with a statement in the throws.

• Discus dominance came early as Tiger Maxwell unleashed a winning throw of 111’6”, while Nidon Shin (93’7”) and Luke Button (89’4”) locked down 3rd and 4th to stack major points.

• In the shot put, Alexander Carter muscled his way to 3rd (37’6”), with Tony Conchos adding a 7th-place finish at 33’2.5”.

• The vertical jumps brought more momentum: Caleb Smith soared to 2nd in high jump (5’10”), and Charlie Tyler cleared 5’0” for 6th.

• Smith returned in long jump for 6th (18’0.5”), while the triple jump trio of Camden Wittman (3rd, 38’1”), Tyree Jackson (36’6”), and Adrian Butler (36’1”) delivered a powerful 3-4-5 sweep of points.

• In pole vault, Jacob Copley (10’0”) and Jonah Frobish (9’6”) finished 4th and 5th.


The sprint relays kept the Broncos in the hunt:

• 4×100 — 5th, 45.92
• 4×200 — 2nd, 1:34.13
• 4×400 — 3:49.13


Distance runners delivered clutch performances:

• Kyan Whitmire placed 3rd in the 3200 (11:14.47) and later added a 6th in the 1600 (5:18.29).

• Josiah Briggs followed closely in the 3200 at 11:32.93.

• Anthony Garza clocked a strong 5:17.01 for 4th in the 1600.


Hurdler Makalyn Harrison battled through both races, finishing 5th in the 110H (19.24) and 6th in the 300H (46.72).

The sprint highlight of the night came from Jaydin McCoy, who blasted to 1st place in the 200m with a 23.90, one of the most electric performances of the meet.

Nathan Teschner added points in the 800 with a 5th-place finish (2:20.33).

A handful of varsity boys stepped in and made noise of their own:

• Everett Mach placed 10th in discus (103’5”) and 6th in shot put (37’7.75”).

• In triple jump, Jadrian Rodriguez soared to 4th (39’6.5”), with Luke Phillips close behind in 5th (38’11”).

• The varsity relays added solid finishes: 4×100 (5th, 45.74), 4×200 (4th, 1:35.82), and 4×400 (5th, 3:48.55).

From explosive throws to clutch relay legs, the JV Boys delivered a complete team performance that showcased depth, discipline, and competitive fire. With the Broncos Relays on March 26 up next , and on home turf, Broncos are primed for an even bigger statement.
