The JV Lady Broncos brought energy, precision, and heart to the Vikings Relays and the result was a strong second-place team finish powered by standout efforts across every event group.
The Lady Broncos wasted no time stacking points:
• In high jump, Olivia Damn cleared 4’4” for 5th.
• The long jump duo of April Jones (13’4.5”) and Charli Williams (13’2”) secured 5th and 6th.
• Williams returned in triple jump to claim 4th with a 31’1”.
• In pole vault, Avelyn Ponce delivered a huge 2nd-place finish at 7’0”.
The throws brought more fire:
• Discus — Tiana Ballard 5th (64’0”), Caydence Kanzenbach 7th (59’2”)
• Shot put — Ballard 3rd (26’2.5”), Kaylin Amaker 4th (25’1.75”), Zeana Gilbert 5th (24’11”)
The sprints were electric:
• 100m — April Jones 5th (14.06), Da’Drunique Glover 6th (14.13)
• 200m — Charli Williams blasted to 1st place in 27.86, with Zamiya Haye 4th (28.82)
• 400m — Haye returned with a strong 1:06.79
Distance athletes showed grit:
• 800m — London Lynn 7th (2:40.74)
• 1600m — Sophia Garza 7th (6:25.51)
In the hurdles, Sophia Rotramel placed 6th in the 100H (19.32), while Avery Reinhardt delivered one of the night’s biggest highlights, a PR of 53.40 to take 3rd in the 300H, with Rotramel adding 6th (54.56).
The relays were a major force:
• 4×200 — 2nd, 1:52.13
• 4×400 — 2nd, 4:38.77
A few varsity girls stepped in and made their presence known:
• Eliana Arevalo placed 5th in the 100m (13.47)
• Susan Martinez clocked 1:05.49 for 5th in the 400m
• Audrey Mughelli delivered a strong 5th in triple jump (34’11.5”)
The JV Lady Broncos showed depth, toughness, and championship-level poise from start to finish. With the Broncos Relays on March 26 , their home meet the momentum is building for something special.
