The Lake Belton Broncos maintained their steady momentum last night, securing a 23-0 victory over Ellison High School. The game concluded after three innings of play due to the run rule, as the Broncos showcased efficient execution both at the plate and in the circle.

Lake Belton’s offense stayed disciplined throughout the contest, scoring 23 runs on 20 hits across 26 at-bats. The team combined for 20 RBIs, with several players contributing extra-base hits to keep the line moving.

The Broncos found success with a gap-to-gap approach, recording five doubles from Alaysha Williams, Analicia Diaz, Avery Park, Isabell Magana, and Nani Rubio. Addison Sims and Madison Naser also contributed to the scoring effort with home runs.

On the basepaths, the team remained aggressive but calculated, totaling eight stolen bases. Isabell Magana led the way with four steals, while Maliyah Gooden added two. The Broncos also showed situational awareness, picking up sacrifice flies from Aria Newman and Madison Perkins to help extend the lead.

Kayleigh Jackson provided a very reliable performance in the circle to earn the win. Jackson kept the Ellison hitters off-balance through her three innings of work, surrendering only one hit, no runs, no walks, and five strike outs.

The Broncos will now shift their focus to a special evening this Friday night. Lake Belton is set to host Waco High for Senior Night.
