The Lake Belton Varsity Silver Golf Team Teed it up at Stonetree Golf Course in the fifth annual B.I.S.D. Invitational. The boys walked away with runner-up honors shooting the year’s best team score of 309, coming in second to 6A powerhouse Midway by only 12 strokes. Just a few more made putts and things would’ve gotten really interesting! Seniors Jackson Null and Miles Parker led the way for the team, shooting identical one-over-par 73s. The boys headed out to the number 10 tee box and had to play the hole twice to determine that Jackson finished with the fourth place medal and Miles took home fifth place honors to make the all-tournament team. Placing 3rd on the team Freshman Carter Johnson turned in a great 81 in his first ever B.I.S.D. Invitational tournament. Senior Brayden Hoff used new irons to card a great 82, and Senior Gavin Kerr shook off some rust and posted a nice 83 to round out the team. The Varsity Silver team is excited to hit Stonetree again on the 30th and 31st of March in the District 16-5A tournament!
