The Lake Belton JV Silver golf team competed in the B.I.S.D. Invitational Golf Tournament at Stonetree Golf Course on March 26th. The boys played well and finished up with a team score of 407. Leading the boys in scoring, senior Landon Casperson took 97 strokes to complete the tournament. One stroke behind Landon, sophomore Weston Minzak turned in a score of 98. Senior Eric Gulley was third on the team carding a 104. Junior Trysten Reese had a score of 108, and freshman Michael Stawski rounded out the team with a score of 113. Joining the JV Silver team, Junior Andrew Harden shot a 102 and Junior Aiden Newby shot a 107 playing as medalists. Landon, Andrew, and Weston will be joining the Varsity Silver and Red teams as medalists at the District 16-5A tournament at Stonetree.
