The Lake Belton Bronco Baseball Team responded to their district opening loss with a 10-2 defeat of the Belton Tigers. A big 6 run first inning gave the Broncos a lead they would never relinquish. The offense pounded out 12 hits, the pitching staff recorded 12 strikeouts, and defense put up a 0 in the error column. With the win, Lake is now 1-1 in District 16-5A play, and will return to action as they host the district leading Ellison Eagles on Tuesday from Bronco Ballpark. First pitch is set for 7:00 p.m.
