The atmosphere at Lake Belton was filled with gratitude on Tuesday night as the Varsity Broncos celebrated their senior class. Lake Belton secured a 15-0 victory over Waco University, ending the contest in three innings via the run rule.

While the offense provided plenty of support, the tone was set in the circle by Senior Natalie Hosch. Showing remarkable poise, Hosch remained perfect through her three innings of work. She relied on her defense and a sharp strikeout pitch to retire every batter she faced, finishing with eight strikeouts, and allowing no runners to reach base.

Senior Addison Sims and Nani Rubio both found the gaps for triples, while Analicia Diaz contributed a solid double to the tally.

The Broncos utilized their speed effectively, with Madison Perkins leading the team with three stolen bases. Isabell Magana, Addison Sims, Aria Newman, Kayleigh Jackson, and Nani Rubio all contributed to the aggressive but calculated running game.

Brysen Gott, Alexis Walker, Avery Park, and Madison Naser all added to the total base count, ensuring the offensive effort was a complete team success.

The team will return to the diamond this Tuesday for another home matchup against Chaparral High School.
