The Lake Belton JV Broncos dominated Chaparral on Tuesday, securing a commanding 15-4 victory. The Broncos' offense was fueled by disciplined plate appearances, drawing a massive 17 walks and stealing eight bases throughout the contest.

First Inning: Lake Belton wasted no time, jumping out to an early lead. Mecca Jefferson sparked the rally with a two-RBI single. An outfield error allowed two more to cross the plate before Kennedy Jacobs drove in another with a single.

Second Inning: The lead widened as the Broncos capitalized on command issues from Chaparral. Raelynn Hunt, Sophia Letts, Hayleigh McConnell, and Briley Shirley all drew bases-loaded walks, followed by a run scoring on a wild pitch.

Third Inning: The Broncos displayed elite patience, scoring five runs without recording a hit. Alana Martinez, Khloe Smith, and Hunt each earned RBIs via walks, supplemented by a costly Chaparral error.

Aryana Teague earned the start, striking out three batters and allowing two runs on two hits over one inning of work. Briley Shirley provided excellent relief, shutting down Chaparral over two innings, allowing only one hit and zero earned runs while striking out two.

The Broncos will have a quick turn around, as they are set to travel to Waco University on Thursday night for round two of district play.
