JV Girls Capture First Place at Bronco Relays with Heart, Hustle, and Championship Fire

The JV girls stormed into the Bronco Relays with purpose and walked out as champions, delivering a complete team performance fueled by speed, grit, and undeniable determination. From the opening sprint to the final field event, this squad proved they were the class of the meet.

The 100-meter dash kicked off the scoring surge:
Gabrielle Hamilton powered to 4th, earning 4 points with a 13.97.
Da’drunique Glover followed closely, adding 2 points for 5th in 14.01.

In the 200-meter dash, the Broncos showed depth and fire:
Zamiya Haye blazed to 2nd, scoring 8 points with a 28.32.
Charli Williams added 4 points for 4th in 28.65.
Eliana Arevalo chipped in 1 point for 6th at 28.73.

The 400m group delivered under pressure:
Susan Martinez claimed 3rd, earning 6 points with a 1:05.54.
Azely Johnson added 1 point for 6th in 1:09.10.

The JV girls’ distance squad was nothing short of spectacular.

1600m Run:
Elizabeth Sandlin crushed the field, taking 1st with a 6:06.79, earning 10 points.
Alayna Fulton followed in 2nd, adding 8 points with a 6:07.23.
Sophia Garza secured 4th, scoring 4 points in 6:16.92.

3200m Run:
Sandlin returned for 2nd, adding 8 more points with a 13:52.70.
Garza added 1 point for 6th in 14:28.78.

800m Run:
Alayna Fulton added another 2 points with a 5th-place finish in 2:46.40.
The distance crew alone piled up a mountain of points—an essential piece of the championship run.

Precision and Power, Sophia Rotramel attacked the 100m hurdles, earning 6 points for 3rd with an 18.83.
Avery Reinhardt delivered a defining moment in the 300m hurdles, winning 1st place, scoring 10 points, and setting a PR of 51.75.

The 4x100m relay squad brought home a huge 2nd-place finish, clocking 52.01 and earning 16 points a pivotal performance in the team title chase.

Elevation and Energy
Long Jump:
Gabrielle Hamilton soared to 2nd, earning 8 points with a 14-11 leap.

Triple Jump:
Avery Reinhardt added 4 points for 4th with a 30-10.5 jump.
Charli Williams contributed 1 point for 6th at 30-1.

Pole Vault:
Brynley Haynes claimed 2nd, earning 8 points with a 7-6 clearance.
Avelyn Ponce added 4 points for 4th at 7-0.

Shot Put:
Makinzi Johnson delivered a clutch 2nd-place finish, earning 8 points with a 29-1 throw.
