The JV Lady Broncos proved that the future of the track and field program is in excellent hands, delivering a spectacular team performance to definitively capture the 16-5A District Championship. Showcasing incredible depth and talent across both running and field events, the team overpowered the competition to bring home the district title.
The Broncos were propelled to the top of the podium by a staggering number of first-place finishes. In the field, Avery Reinhardt soared to gold in the triple jump with a mark of 31-5, while Olivia Dann cleared 4-11 to win the high jump. Reinhardt also dominated the track, capturing another gold in the 300-meter hurdles with a personal record of 50.61.
Speed and endurance were on full display as the Broncos swept through the running events. Gabrielle Hamilton blazed to a first-place finish in the dash with a time of 13.41, and Sophia Rotramel secured gold in the 100-meter hurdles (18.70). In the distance events, Elizabeth Sandlin claimed the 3200-meter title (13:24.60), and Jenna Benedick took first in the 800-meter run with a stellar 2:29.62.
Championships are won with team depth, and the JV Broncos proved they had it in spades. The relay teams scored massive points, with both the 4x100 and 4x200 squads taking home silver medals. Emyle Love added a crucial silver in the 3200-meter run, and Charli Williams sprinted to second in the 200-meter dash. Strong field performances from athletes like Kendall Thibeault (Pole Vault) and Makinzi Johnson (Shot Put) kept the Broncos firmly in the lead.
From the sprinters to the throwers, every single point mattered. With a roster full of champions and medalists, the JV Lady Broncos made a powerful statement and capped off an incredible season as the 16-5A District Champions!
