The Lake Belton Junior Varsity Broncos cruised to a 13-0 victory over Waco JV. The Broncos set the tone immediately in the first inning, plating five runs behind a Briley Shirley single, a Mecca Jefferson triple, and patient at-bats from Kennedy Jacobs, Alana Martinez, and Raelynn Hunt, who each drew walks or were hit by a pitch to drive in runs.

The momentum continued into the second inning, where the Broncos tacked on five more runs on two hits. After walks to AryanaTeague and Sophia Letts forced in runs, Carly Frosch delivered a clutch two-run double, followed by an RBI single from Mecca Jefferson. The scoring wrapped up in the third inning as Aralina Acosta hammered a triple to center field, Raelynn Hunt added an RBI single, and Khloe Smith drew a bases-loaded walk.

On the mound, Aryana Teague was untouchable, tossing two scoreless innings while allowing zero hits and striking out four batters against only two walks. Defensively, the Broncos were flawless, playing a clean game without committing a single error.

Offensively, the team showed exceptional discipline at the plate, drawing 12 walks throughout the contest. Adalyn Ramos, Khloe Smith, and Kennedy Jacobs led the effort with two walks apiece. Mecca Jefferson paced the offense with two hits, while the team’s aggressive baserunning resulted in 13 total stolen bases. Aiyana Rountree led the charge with three steals, while Alana Martinez, Aralina Acosta, and Kennedy Jacobs each chipped in two. Briley Shirley, Carly Frosch, Khloe Smith, and Sophia Letts also contributed a stolen base each.

Total base production reflected the team's balanced attack: Mecca Jefferson (4), Aralina Acosta (3), Carly Frosch (2), Alana Martinez (1), Briley Shirley (1), and Raelynn Hunt (1). Additionally, Aiyana Rountree and Raelynn Hunt were hit by pitches to keep the rallies alive.

The Broncos will look to close out their season on a high note when they travel to face Chaparral High School for their final game.
