With an 11-0 win over the University Trojans, the Lake Belton Broncos captured their 6th consecutive District Championship. Lake moves to 8-1 in District 16-5A, and 19-6-3 overall. The district schedule wraps up with a trip to Waco ISD Sports Complex on Friday to finish the University series. First pitch is set for 7:00 p.m. The Broncos will then take part in two non-district contests against Rouse and Midway to prepare for the Bi-District round of the playoffs. The Bi-District opponent is still being determined at this time.
