Game 1:
The series opener was defined by a stifling defensive performance. Natalie Hosch earned the win, delivering five dominant innings where she surrendered just one hit and zero runs while racking up eight strikeouts and zero walks. Kayleigh Jackson closed the door in relief, tossing one scoreless inning with two strikeouts to preserve the shutout.

Offensively, the Broncos pounded out 11 hits. Brysen Gott led the charge going 3-for-4, while Madison Perkins and Alaysha Williams added multi-hit performances. Briley Updyke provided the power in the heart of the order, driving in three runs on a 2-for-3 day. The team displayed elite patience and speed, drawing six walks—led by Isabell Magana’s two—and swiping a staggering 13 bases, five of which belonged to Magana alone.

The Broncos’ extra-base power came from Alaysha Williams and Briley Updyke, who both notched triples. Williams and Updyke led the team with four total bases each, followed by Gott with three, Perkins with two, and Aria Newman and Magana with one apiece. Magana also took one for the team with a hit-by-pitch. On the basepaths, the speed was relentless: Alexis Walker and Magana each stole three bases, while Perkins and Nani Rubio also added to the tally.

Game 2:
The Broncos didn’t let up in the second frame, securing an 8-0 win behind a complete-game shutout from Liliana Herrera. Over seven innings, Herrera dominated the Wranglers' hitters, striking out nine to seal the series sweep. Lake Belton's defense was equally impressive, finishing the game with zero errors.

The bats remained hot with 13 total hits. Addison Sims, Perkins, and Updyke all recorded multiple hits, while Gott drove in two runs. The Broncos once again showed great plate discipline with five walks, led by Naser and Williams with two each.

Briley Updyke paced the offense with a double and three total bases, a mark matched by Isabell Magana and Madison Perkins. Addison Sims contributed two total bases, while Analicia Diaz and Brysen Gott added one each. Gott also showcased her situational hitting with a sacrifice fly. The Broncos remained aggressive on the bags, recording steals from Diaz, Aria Newman, Magana, and Perkins.

The Broncos now shift their focus to a heavyweight matchup against a tough Walnut Grove team in the Regional Semifinals. The best-of-three series will be held at Red Oak High School: Game 1 Thursday 6PM, Game 2 Friday 6 PM, Game 3 Saturday 2 PM (If Necessary).
