Under a scorching sun, the Lake Belton High School varsity tennis team battled through extreme heat and high drama, ultimately falling just short in a tight 9-10 match against a Rouse High School.

Despite the tough team loss, the Broncos demonstrated remarkable toughness and performative cool under pressure, winning four out of their five tie-break matches on the day.

Doubles & Mixed Highlights

Girls Doubles: Sonia Padmanabhan and Brianna Dubrocq secured a crucial win, while teammates Addison Kruppa and Eliana Cavavos pulled off a thrilling victory, clutching their match in a dramatic tie-break.

Mixed Doubles: The duo of Micah Briggs and Alyssa Naumann held their nerve in a tight finish, outlasting their opponents to claim a hard-fought tie-break win.
