Lady Broncos JV Overpower Leander With Complete-Team
The Lake Belton Lady Broncos JV squad delivered another electric performance Tuesday night, sweeping the Leander Lady Tigers in straight sets and proving once again that their depth, chemistry, and competitive edge make them one of the most dangerous JV teams in Central Texas.
The Broncos controlled Set 1 with a sharp 25–17 finish, then closed out Set 2 25–9 behind disciplined defense and relentless offensive pressure.
Back-row anchors Aubrey Henderson, Zamia Rodriguez, Jordynn Morris, and Jordyn Landry held firm all night, reading hitters, keeping rallies alive, and refusing to let Leander find rhythm. Their platform discipline was the backbone of the Broncos’ momentum.
Setters Brooklyn O'Brien and Alexis Walker kept the offense humming, delivering clean tempo, smart distribution, and perfect connections that opened every zone of the court.
Middles Natalie Tucker , Aiyana Roundtree, and Imani Fisher were forces at the net blocking, serving tough, and attacking with confidence. Their presence created constant pressure and forced Leander into defensive scrambles.
The right side and Outside duo of Azeley Johnson and Jordyn Landry and Jordynn Morris delivered one of their strongest performances of the season. They crushed balls from every angle , deep cross, short cross, straight line, and seam, earning point after point and breaking open rallies with explosive swings. Their ability to terminate in transition gave the Broncos a major advantage.
Serving pressure, hitter execution, defensive grit, and setter-hitter chemistry all came together as the Lady Broncos closed the match with confidence and style. It was a statement win. One built on teamwork, trust, and relentless effort.
