Lake Belton Red 9th football team faced adversity early, but the way they responded showed the toughness and character of this group. Instead of letting a difficult start define the game, the Broncos continued to battle, play hard, and compete for all four quarters.

The team put together a great effort in all three phases of the game. The offense continued to fight and make plays, the defense stepped up when it mattered, and special teams contributed to the overall team victory.

When the final whistle blew, Lake Belton Red had earned its first win of the season. More importantly, the team showed that adversity can be overcome when everyone continues to fight and play for one another.

There is still plenty to learn and improve on, and this group will use the experience to continue growing. Now, it’s time to get back to work, learn from the game, and get ready for next week.
