The Broncos traveled to Lorena on Tuesday night to take on the Lady Leopards in a hard-fought five-set battle.

The Broncos came out ready to compete but were met with an energized home crowd and a consistent Lorena squad, falling in the opening set, 12-25. After a much-needed regroup, the Broncos responded with determination, battling back to claim the next two sets, 25-21 and 26-24.

Lorena answered in the fourth set, forcing a decisive fifth set with a 25-18 victory. The final set featured an intense back-and-forth battle, but the Broncos ultimately fell just short, 10-15.

Despite the final result, the Broncos showcased numerous exciting moments and flashes of strong volleyball throughout the match.

Ava Wood led the Broncos offensively with 12 kills, followed by Kaleileana Cress with six and Gracie Lott with five. Kamryn Daniels directed the offense with 27 assists.

Defensively, Haylee Kasner recorded 13 digs, while Kamryn Daniels added 12 and Kenna Morrison contributed nine.
