The Lake Belton Red volleyball squad delivered a strong performance at the BISD Sub-Varsity Showdown Tournament, finishing the event with an impressive 3-2 overall record.

Pool play kicked off with a tough matchup against Midway, where the Broncos fell in two competitive sets. The team quickly bounced back, showing resilience in their second pool play match by battling past Belton White in a hard-fought three-set thriller.

Carrying that momentum into bracket play, Lake Belton posted a strong 2-1 record. The Broncos picked up two decisive victories over Jarrell and defeated cross-town rival Belton Red for a second time on the weekend, with their only setback coming in a tight rematch against Midway.

The entire team put together a complete group effort throughout the tournament, highlighted by standout performances from two key contributors: Macey Brent anchored the front line, delivering huge swings on offense and imposing dominant defense at the net.
Ella Davis Honea directed the offense with precision at setter, delivering excellent sets in every single match across the tournament.
