Four Lady Bronco Golfers that are new to sport played in the Belton New Tech Novice Tournament on Thursday, September 10. The tournament was held at Stonetree Golf Club in Killeen.
It was a great opportunity for the girls who are learning the sport to get a feel for how a tournament works and the what it's like to compete.
Two freshmen and two sophomores played in the tournament.
Freshman Teresa Turner had the lowest score for the group, followed by Sophomore Emma Harris. Freshman Peyton Basak and Sophomore Josalynn Lester were right behind there teammates in scoring.
Lady Bronco Golf will be qualifying next week to determine teams for the upcoming season. The Silver and Red Teams will both be playing in the Ellison Tournament at Stonetree on September 22.
