Bronco Volleyball traveled to Copperas Cove on Friday night, with the Varsity team taking the court for the first match of the evening at 5:00 p.m.

The match opened with an exciting back-and-forth exchange of points. Despite some early challenges and miscues, the Broncos remained composed and continued to battle, securing the first set, 25-20.

The second set proved to be an even greater challenge, as the Copperas Cove Bulldawgs demonstrated their determination and defensive persistence, refusing to let points come easily. The Broncos responded with strong teamwork, resilience, and consistent effort to claim the second set, 25-23.

The third and final set continued the hard-fought battle, with the Broncos gradually building momentum and pulling ahead. After a series of unforced errors threatened to shift the momentum, Coach Garner called a timeout that helped refocus the team and propel the Broncos toward the finish. The Broncos closed out the match with a 25-22 victory in the third set.

The Broncos' offensive attack was led by junior Madilyn Jackman, who recorded an impressive 11 kills. Ava Wood followed with 9 kills, while Kaleileana Cress added 7. Kamryn Daniels powered the offense with 36 assists across the three-set match. Defensively, Kenna Morrison led the team with 17 digs, followed by Gracie Lott with 13 and Taylan Cole with 12.

The Broncos will return to action Tuesday, September 22, at 6:00 p.m. when they travel across town to face district opponent Temple High School.
