The Lake Belton Lady Broncos went 1-1 at the Alamo City Hoops I-35 Challenge in Round Rock, gaining valuable experience as they continue preparing for the upcoming basketball season.

The Lady Broncos opened the showcase against Austin Westlake in a competitive matchup. Lake Belton battled throughout the game but ultimately fell 42-34.

Lake Belton responded in a big way in its second game against Harker Heights. The Lady Broncos put together a strong performance on both ends of the floor, earning an impressive 55-15 victory to close out the showcase.

More importantly, the event provided the Lady Broncos with another opportunity to learn, grow, and build confidence. The team was able to see improvement in several areas that have been a major focus during preseason workouts.

The showcase also gave the Lady Broncos an opportunity to compete in front of college coaches and gain exposure as they continue developing individually and as a team.

The weekend offered an exciting preview of what is to come for Lake Belton basketball this season. With continued improvement, hard work, and preparation, the Lady Broncos are looking forward to carrying the lessons learned from the showcase into the season ahead.
