The Lake Belton Freshman Silver Broncos battled Harker Heights in a hard-fought game, overcoming an early deficit and making a strong push in the second half before ultimately falling 16-14.
The Broncos found themselves trailing early, but they never gave up. Coming out of halftime, Lake Belton responded with renewed energy and fought their way back into the game.
A big moment came when Blaine Warehime read the QB like a book and got a pick and returned it for a pick-six, giving the Broncos a huge spark and helping turn the momentum in Lake Belton’s favor.
The Broncos continued to battle until the final whistle, but a few small mistakes throughout the game proved costly in the end. Despite the 16-14 loss, the Freshman Silver team showed tremendous fight and resilience in battling back from an early deficit and putting themselves in position to win.
