Lake Belton Volleyball delivered an exciting performance Tuesday night, hosting Chaparral in a thrilling 12-6A showdown in front of a packed and energetic crowd. The atmosphere was amplified by the presence of both middle school programs, North Belton Middle School Volleyball and Lake Belton Middle School Volleyball, who came out to support the Broncos.

The opening set featured intense back-and-forth action before Chaparral gained momentum and built a five-point advantage. With the Broncos trailing 13-18, Head Coach Allison Garner called a timeout—and the match quickly turned in Lake Belton’s favor.

Fueled by a tremendous team effort and a remarkable 12-point serving run led by Kruz Smith, the Broncos stormed back to close the set on a 12-0 run, winning 25-18.

Chaparral answered with a strong challenge in the second set, but Lake Belton remained composed and battled through another competitive frame to claim a 25-22 victory.

With the crowd roaring, the Broncos carried that energy into a dramatic third set. Neither team was willing to give in, but Lake Belton ultimately prevailed 28-26, completing the sweep and sending the home crowd into a celebration.

The Broncos showcased a balanced offensive attack throughout the match. Kaleileana Cress led the way with 10 kills, followed closely by Gracie Lott with 9. Ava Wood and Madilyn Jackman each added 6 kills.
Defensively, Smith paced the Broncos with 9 digs, while Haylee Kasner recorded 8 and Cress added 7. Kamryn Daniels orchestrated the offense with an impressive 27 assists, while Kylie Morgenroth contributed 8 assists.

With a resilient comeback in the opening set, a hard-fought set two victory, and an electric finish in the third, Lake Belton showed exactly what it takes to win a battle against a determined district opponent.

The Broncos will enjoy another home advantage on Tuesday night when they host Copperas Cove.
