The JV Lady Broncos put up a fierce fight on the court, ultimately coming up just short in a hard-fought, three-set battle against the Cove Bulldawgs. Despite the tough loss, the squad displayed relentless hustle on defense and dynamic play at the net throughout the night.

Azeley Johnson spearheaded the Lady Broncos' attack, delivering a powerhouse performance with a team-high 14 kills. Jordynn Morris provided solid muscle in the front row with 8 kills, while Natalie Tucker added 6 kills to keep the pressure on Cove's defense. Jordyn Landry chipped in 3 kills, with Imani Fisher adding 2, and Brooklynn O'Brien, Aiyana Roundtree, and Aubrey Henderson each recording 1 kill. Altogether, the team generated 29 total assists to keep the offense moving smoothly.

On defense, Aubrey Henderson anchored the backline with an outstanding performance, taking charge with a game-high 17 digs while contributing 2 assists. Jordynn Morris showed off a complete game, racking up 7 digs to go along with an ace and an assist. Azeley Johnson (5 digs) and Jordyn Landry (4 digs) consistently kept rallies alive, complemented by additional defensive plays from Lexi Walker, Brooklynn O'Brien, and Natalie Tucker (1 dig each).

At the net, the Lady Broncos registered 3 total blocks, with Fisher, Tucker, and Johnson each rejecting a Bulldawg attack. From behind the service line, Tucker was a major spark plug, pacing the team with 4 service aces alongside Morris's single ace.

With the result, the Lady Broncos shift to 6-3 in district play while holding a strong 22-10 overall record on the season. The squad won't have to wait long to rebound as they gear up to face off against Temple this Friday.
