The Lake Belton Broncos traveled to Midway on Tuesday night to challenge District 12-6A’s top seed, ultimately falling to Midway in three sets.

While the Broncos opened the match with strong energy, Midway’s steady play made it difficult for Lake Belton to establish a rhythm. Despite a tough outing compared to their higher-energy performances this season, several Broncos turned in solid individual efforts.

Offensively, Madilyn Jackman led the team with 4 kills, while Gracie Lott and Audrey Mughelli each added 2. On defense, Kristen Morales paced the backline with 9 digs, supported by Haylee Kasner’s 8 and Kamryn Daniels’ 6. Daniels also orchestrated the offense with 8 assists.

The Broncos will look to build on those bright spots as they close out the regular season on the road at Bryan this Friday night. A win against Bryan—paired with a Copperas Cove loss to district champion Midway—would secure a fourth-place tie for Lake Belton in District 12-6A .
