The Lake Belton Broncos could not overcome a cold shooting night at Gatesville on Tuesday night as they fell to the Hornets 45-61. The Broncos shot 31% from the field and went 2 for 22 from the three point line. Gatesville jumped out to a quick 10 point lead in the first quarter and Lake was never able to cut their lead down to more than five the remainder of the game. The Broncos will look to bounce back on Friday, as they host Pflugerville High School at North Belton Middle School in their final game before district play begins on December 19th.
