Lake Belton JV Boys Basketball get a much needed victory tonight, as the Broncos get a layup as the time expired to beat Pflugerville 42-40. The Broncos led after the 1st quarter, 10-8. The 2nd quarter was a back and forth affair, with Pflugerville going into the break up 20-18. Going into the 2nd half, the Broncos were able to outscore the Panthers 14-11, to go up 32-31 after 3 quarters. The 4th quarter was again a back and forth affair between the 2 teams. The score was tied at 40, with just under 3 seconds left. After a timeout, the Broncos were able to get a contested layup to go in at the buzzer to win 42-40.
