The Lake Belton Broncos rallied in the fourth quarter on Friday night against Pflugerville but could not overcome the twenty point lead the Panthers built in the third quarter. It took three quarters before the Broncos found their rhythm and confidence on offense. Lake outscored Pflugerville 19-4 in the fourth, but ran out of time to compete the comeback.

Lake Belton shot 29% in the game, while Pflugerville shot 51%. The Broncos went 9-32 from the three point line and the Panthers went 5-15.

Lake will be back in action on Tuesday when they host Waco University in district 22-5A competition.
