The Lake Belton Broncos competed in the Hays Classic on Friday and Saturday before returning to district play on January 2nd. Lake started the tournament on Friday morning with a loss against Manor New Tech, but responded with a runaway win against Northeast College Prep on Friday afternoon. Lake dropped games to both Buda Hays and Buda Johnson on Saturday. Lake shot 41% from the field and 35% from three point range over the four game span.

The Broncos will return to action on Tuesday, January 2nd as they travel to Waco High to take on the Lions in district 22-5A play.
