The Lake Belton Broncos outlasted the Killeen Kangaroos on Friday night with a 61-52 home win. The Broncos struggled to score going to the basket early in the game, but used the second and third quarters to settle in and take a six point lead into halftime. Lake stretched the lead to 51-40 to start the fourth quarter, but went cold by only scoring two points through the first five minutes. Killeen closed the gap to 54-52 before the Broncos regained control of the game to close on a 7-0 run.

Lake Belton will return to action on Tuesday, January 9th as they host the Belton Tigers in a 7:00 tip-off.
