The Lake Belton Boys JV started out hot against a Chaparral team Friday night, going up early 11-7 after the 1st quarter. The solid play continued in the 2nd quarter with some hot shooting and good defense to head into the halftime break, 29-18. The hot shooting and solid defense did not come out of the locker room after the half and allowed the Bobcats to get back into the game and tied the game at 36 going into the 4th quarter. The Broncos could not get anything going late in the 4th and, getting outscored by 15 after a 45-45 tie game. The final score was that late run by the Bobcats and Lake Belton weren't able to get back to their winning ways, losing 60-45.
