The Lake Belton Boys Basketball team can't seem to finish games in the 2nd half lately. The Broncos went into halftime again with a slim lead, but could not finish the game for the 4th straight game. The Broncos were up 29-28 at the half after a back and forth 1st half. The 3rd quarter was more of the same as the 1st half, with the back and forth between the 2 teams. Lake Belton was up by 2 after the 3rd quarter, 39-37. The 4th quarter was a frustrating one for the Broncos, as they could not make a free throw, gave up timely offensive rebounds and had some costly turnovers as they were outscored 18-6 in the 4th to lose 55-45. The Broncos have now lost 4 in a row and will return home on Friday against Killeen Ellison for tip time at 5:30.
