The JV Boys basketball team finally got back on the winning track, beating Waco University 57-37. Lake Belton got out to a quick start in the 1st quarter, leading 11-8 after the 1st. The Broncos were able to extend the lead going into halftime up 28-14. The Broncos had been in a similar situation in recent weeks, and not being able to finish off games. Tonight was a different story, as Lake outscored the Trojans by 6 in the 3rd to extend the lead to 44-24 after 3. The Broncos were able to maintain the large lead for the remainder of the game to win by 20.
