In an impressive showcase of strength, the Lake Belton High School boys and girls powerlifting teams achieved a victory at the Andrew Billings Invitational Powerlifting Meet this past Saturday in Waco, Texas. The event saw the Lake Belton athletes dominating their respective weight classes, bringing home numerous medals and setting new benchmarks for excellence.

Boys Team:

The boys team made a significant impact at the meet, with five athletes winning first place in their respective weight classes. Additionally, the team's depth was on full display as two more athletes secured second place in their categories, while another two finished in third place, and one more clinched fifth. This spread of success across different weight classes underscores the comprehensive talent and preparation of the Lake Belton boys powerlifting team.

Girls Team:

Mirroring the boys' triumph, the girls team from Lake Belton also excelled at the meet. Five of the female lifters won first-place medals. Their victories in various weight classes demonstrated a blend of power, technique, and mental toughness.
