The JV Boys Basketball team weren't able to shoot the ball well enough to beat a very talented Shoemaker team. The 1st quarter went back and forth between the 2 teams, with Lake Belton down 15-10 after the 1st. In the 2nd quarter, Lake was outscored again and couldn't make a run, going into the half down 34-23. The 2nd half, Lake Belton couldn't make a shot and couldn't handle the pressure of Shoemaker, getting outscored 33-14 to lose 67-37. The Broncos are now 14-12 overall on the season and 5-8 in District play with one game left on the road at Killeen Ellison at 5:30. The stats for Friday nights game were:
