Seven members of the LBHS Varsity Tennis Team received medals at a very big and competitive tournament on Friday. Brodie Reed and Jillian Webb placed 1st in mixed doubles A draw. They won a very tough match in the semi finals against Midway, then defeated Corsicana in the finals in a super tie break. Luke Droege placed second in the A draw, losing in the finals to Corsicana in a very good match.
Steven Dawson and Emilio Gonzalez won 1st place in the boys doubles B draw. Hannah Maroney and Dhruv Bhat won 1st place consolation in the mixed doubles B draw. The varsity team competes this Friday in the Belton ISD Varsity Tournament. RISEUP!
