This weekend David Stewart (Sophomore) and Rylan Reasoner (Senior) competed at UIL 5A Swimming State Championships. They are the first Lake swimmers to qualify and compete at state.

During Prelims: Both athletes had to fight for spots in finals. David Stewart walked into state placed 17th in the 100 Fr and Rylan Reasoner was placed 19th in the 500 Fr. With only the top 16 making it to finals, both boys knew they would have to beat out the competition for a spot. David Stewart finished his race with a time of 48.45 placing him 14th overall and earning him a spot in finals. Rylan Reasoner finished his race with a time of 4:48.74 placing him 15th overall and also earning him a spot in finals. At finals, David Stewart finished his 100 Fr 15th overall and Rylan Reasoner finished 16th overall.

Overall a great way to finish our swim season. We are excited to see what is to come for Bronco swimming next year.
