The Lake Belton Broncos earned a series sweep of the Shoemaker Greywolves with a 10-2 win Friday night at Charger 6 Field. The Broncos started fast jumping out to a 9-0 lead after 3 innings. The Lake offense was productive throughout the lineup as 3 starters tallied multi-hit games. Peanut Brazzle, Cameron Bartz and Kaden Ward all had 2 hits in the contest, while Brandon Bell had a big night with 4 RBI. Brazzle also chipped in 2 RBI to aid the offense. Mason Law was the winning pitcher going 6 innings allowing only 2 hits, an unearned run and striking out 10. The Broncos improved their season record to 12-4 overall, and are 2-0 in district play. District play resumes on Tuesday, March 19th as Lake will travel to Waco Veterans Park to take on the Waco Lions. First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m.
