The Lake Belton Bronco Baseball team made short work of the Chaparral Bobcats with a 10-0 run rule victory Thursday night at Bobcat Field. With 2 runs in the 2nd, followed by 5 in the third Lake was able to cruise to their 6th consecutive district win. With the win the Broncos are 16-4 on the season and 6-0 in District 22-5A play. Lake returns to action with a series against the Waco University Trojans. Tuesday's game is at Bronco Ballpark while Friday's game will be at the Waco ISD Sports Complex. The Broncos also have a non-district game slated for Saturday April 6th at Stony Point.
