The Lake Belton Bronco Baseball team moved to 7-0 in District 22-5A play with a 9-5 win over the University Trojans. The Broncos jumped out to a 9-0 lead before University made a late rally to pull with 4 runs before the Broncos ended the threat in the 7th. The Broncos are now 17-4 on the season and are atop the district standings at the halfway point of the district season. Lake is back in action as they hit the road to face University at Waco ISD Veterans Stadium. First pitch is slated for 7 p.m.
