The Lake Belton Bronco Baseball team battled windy conditions along with the Killeen Kangaroos Wednesday night at Bronco Ballpark. Lake jumped out to a quick 7-0 lead in the first and never looked back in the 15-1 victory. The Broncos knocked out 11 hits in the contest highlighted by an inside the park grand slam from Clint Beck. Three Lake hurlers combined to strike out 10 to push the Broncos district record to 9-0 and 20-4 overall. Lake Belton is back in action Friday at Killeen and return home Saturday to take on the 7th ranked Rouse Raiders. First pitch from Killeen will be 7 p.m., while the Rouse game has a first pitch of 12:30 from Bronco Ballpark.
