Lake Belton improved to 10-0 with a 9-1 victory over the Killeen Kangaroos. The Broncos struck early and often scoring 6 runs in the first 3 innings. Senior starting pitcher Mason Law made those runs stand up with another complete game victory. The Broncos got a strong performance from the bottom of the order as the trio of Cameron Bartz, Braxtan Cope, and Zavian Rodriguez combined for 5 hits, 5 runs, 6 RBI as well as 4 stolen bases. The Broncos will return to action Tuesday as they welcome the rival Belton Tigers to Bronco Ballpark in a big 22-5A matchup. First pitch is slated for 7 p.m. The series will conclude Friday at Tidwell Field at 7 p.m.
