For the 4th consecutive season the Lake Belton Bronco Baseball team has earned a district championship. The Broncos defeated Belton by a score of 16-0 to earn the district title. The Broncos struck for 6 runs in the 2nd, 3 more in the 4th and a 7 spot in the 5th for the run rule victory. That was more than enough for Mason Law, who went the distance on the mound, allowing a lone hit, while striking out 8. The Broncos are now 24-4 on the season and will finish out District 22-5A play with a series against the Ellison Eagles. Tuesday will take place at Ellison, while the Friday game will be at Bronco Ballpark. Both games are slated for 7 p.m. first pitches.
