Brandin Byrd is the new Offensive Coordinator for the Lake Belton Broncos. He will still be coaching our wide receivers and will continue to be our Head Boys Track coach. Brandin has been coaching for 10 years. Before becoming a Bronco, he previously coached at Belton, University of North Texas and West Virginia State University.
Brandin is a graduate of the University of North Texas where he played running back for the football program. In his career he has worked with Running Backs, Wide Receivers, Linebackers, Safeties and has been Co-Special Teams Coordinator for the last 4 years for the Broncos.
Brandin had this to say about becoming the offensive coordinator “First, I would like to thank God for always making a way for me. I also want to thank Coach Cope for believing in me and for this opportunity to help me to continue to grow in this profession. Lastly, thank you to my wife and my family for praying and rooting for me throughout the journey. Lake has been great to me the last 4 years, and I look forward to continuing to help the offensive kids to maximize their abilities not only on the field, but also in life. Go Broncos!
