Rachael Davee is our new Head Girls Track Coach and assistant Cross Country coach. Rachael has been the Head Coach in Smithville. While as head coach, her athletes have consistently made it to regionals the past 3 years. Her mid and long-distance runners also have won district meets under her guidance.


Coach Davee has been coaching for 5 years. She is a graduate of Lamar University in Beaumont where she ran Division 1 track. Throughout her running career, she was a 4-time regional qualifier in both track and cross country and advanced to the UIL State Meet in the 800-meter run. She also was a district champion in the 400 and 800 while in high school.
