Rodrick James is our new Safeties coach and will also coach Boys Basketball. Rodrick comes to Lake Belton from Jarrell where he was the defensive coordinator. He has been coaching for 11 years.

Coach James is a graduate of Texas Southern University. He has been a defensive coordinator and assistant head coach at Irving MacArthur and Manor New Tech along with coaching stops at Temple and Manor in his career.

Coach James had this to say about joining Bronco Nation, “I am extremely excited about the opportunity in front of me at Lake Belton! I truly believe in and am honored to be a part of an amazing culture both on the field and in the classroom. I’m officially home and back in championship country!”
