The Cross Country Team competed at Vista Ridge in Cedar Park yesterday for their 2nd meet of the season. The Broncos ran against many competetive 6A teams in the Austin area. The girls' varsity team was led by freshman Claire Henn and the boys' varsity team was led by senior Daniel Bernard. Daniel shaved off a considerable amount of time from his pace at last week's race. The JV girls ran a mile longer this week by competing in the 5K race. Leading the girls' JV race was freshman Catalina Esquivel. Freshman Anthony Garza came out on top for the Broncos in the JV boys' race. Anthony improved his time significantly from last week's meet.
The Lake Belton cross country team will travel to Wilson Park in Temple on Friday to compete in the Pro-Fit Invitational.
