The Lady Broncos win the Copperas Cove Volleyball Tournament in dominate fashion. The Lady Broncos would run the table, finishing 6-0 over a 2 day span, losing only 2 sets during this time.

The Lady Broncos would take down Temple, Ellison, and Shoemaker on the first day of action. From the opening match, Setter Olivia Maldonado would orchestrate the offense with precision, delivering perfect sets that would allow her teammates to dominate the front row attack. Defensively, Camryn Mikulas and Grace White were everywhere, finding ways to cover the back row and extend the plays. Perhaps the most surprising part of the day was a last minute roster change, that moved Libero Haylee Kasner into the front row, resulting in seven kills.

The Lady Broncos maintained their momentum going into day two, taking down Chaparral, Copperas Cove, and Legacy Ranch to complete the tournament sweep. The day would feature a series of relentless severs from Olivia Maldonado and Avery Reinhardt. Juliet Faleafine-Allen and Betsy Navarro not only smashed the ball on the offensive attack, but they found a way to strategically place the ball exactly where it needed to be. Defensively, Kenna Morrison fed exceptional pass after pass to setter Olivia Maldonado, Kenna Morrison even managed to sneak in several key back row hits. Middle blocker Aleksee Lutz neutralized the hitters attempts with timely, well executed blocks.

Even when the Lady Broncos found themselves down, they managed to find a way to overcome each obstacle. The Lady Broncos teamwork was on full display throughout this tournament. It was truly and exciting way to open up the tournament season. The Lady Broncos are set to play at home this Tuesday night, for Go Gold.
